This 6-week program is ideal for someone looking to get into running, or reinvigorate their running journey after extended time off. The walk-run sessions progress throughout the 6 weeks. The key is consistency. There are 3 sessions programmed per week, with an optional 4th session also prescribed. This generic program is designed such that you can fit these sessions around your own commitments. Ideally try to have rest days in between (ie. the sessions have been prescribed as being on Day 1, 3, 5 and 6 or 7).
